Designing with intention, not coincidence.
We don’t rely on chance to create meaningful work. Each project begins with understanding the story that needs to be told and the audience it’s meant for. From there, every design decision serves a reason. The work below is a reflection of that approach, clear, considered, and built to last.
What we make,
and why it works.
Our services are built around one idea: design should serve meaning before aesthetics. We work across motion, branding, web, and visual systems, shaping ideas into clear, considered outcomes. Whether the task is ongoing or focused into a single project, we adapt our craft to fit the story that needs to be told.

A clearly defined collaboration, from start to finish.

Project-based work is ideal for clearly defined initiatives like launches, campaigns, redesigns, or standalone pieces with a clear scope and timeline. It’s also a great option for teams that want to test working with FLUC and experience our process before committing to a long-term partnership.

FAQs

Working together
Ongoing partnership
Project-based work
What kind of studio is FLUC?

FLUC is a small creative studio focused on motion, design, and storytelling. We operate between the scale of a freelancer and a traditional agency, offering senior-level craft with flexibility.

Who is FLUC for?

We work best with small to mid-sized teams that value clarity, aesthetics, and thoughtful execution. If you’re looking for a creative partner rather than a production factory, FLUC is likely a good fit.

What’s the difference between subscription and project-based work?

Subscriptions are best for ongoing needs and continuous output. Project-based work is ideal for clearly defined, one-off projects with a fixed scope.

Can you work with our existing team or freelancers?

Yes. We often collaborate with internal teams or external partners. We’re comfortable stepping in where it makes the most sense.

How do we communicate?

We use ClickUp for project management and communication. Each client gets shared access for up to 3 users, allowing full visibility into ongoing projects, tasks, timelines, and priorities. If you need view access for more users, it can be done for an extra monthly fee. Meetings are handled via Google Meet, and design feedback is managed through Figma, Google Drive, ClickUp, or Frame.io, depending on the project.

How many clients do you take on at once?

We keep our client list intentionally small. This ensures focus, availability, and consistent quality.

Are licenses, stock assets, or third-party costs included?

Some third-party assets are included. FLUC has access to stock libraries for music, footage, and visual assets, and we aim to use these resources whenever possible to avoid unexpected costs for our clients. However, if a project requires assets outside of our licensed libraries, such as specific music tracks, premium stock, fonts, plugins, or other project-specific expenses, those costs are not included and will be billed separately. Any additional licensing needs will always be discussed and approved in advance.

How do revisions work?

Revisions are part of the process and hours are tracked. Feedback is typically handled through Figma for design, Google Drive for shared assets, or Frame.io for video and motion work. We focus on structured feedback rounds to keep work moving forward.

How do you track work and hours?

We track project hours in Toggl Track to maintain transparency and shared visibility into progress, priorities, and capacity. Clients receive an updated capacity report by the end of each week.

What kind of deliverables can we expect?

Deliverables vary by scope and may include motion assets, design systems, UI components, visual guidelines, or video content. Everything is clearly defined before work begins.

Can you help define scope if we’re not sure what we need?

Yes. We often help teams clarify scope, priorities, and direction before production begins.

Do you work internationally?

Yes. Our work is done remotely, and we collaborate with clients across different countries and time zones.

What don’t you do?

We’re not a high-volume production studio, and we don’t take on work that requires constant rush delivery or unclear decision-making. Our process is built for thoughtful, collaborative work.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. We’re happy to work under NDAs when required.

Who owns the final work?

Once the project or subscription work is completed and paid for, you fully own the final deliverables. We'll make sure that you have the correct licenses and rights to use the work as you wish.

Can FLUC showcase the work?

We may showcase work in our portfolio or on social media unless otherwise agreed or restricted by an NDA.

How do we get started?

Start by telling us about your project or needs. From there, we’ll suggest the best way to work together.

How do subscriptions work?

Subscriptions provide a monthly creative capacity that can be used across motion, design, web, video, and related needs. Work is prioritized together at the start of each month and handled in a focused, collaborative way.

Are subscription hours weekly or monthly?

All capacity is calculated monthly. This allows flexibility and deeper focus, rather than forcing work into weekly limits.

Do unused hours roll over?

Unused hours can roll over up to 50% of the plan’s monthly capacity. Rolled-over hours are applied first in the following month and reviewed together to ensure priorities remain aligned. Any hours beyond this limit do not carry over.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Subscriptions have a one-month minimum. You can pause, upgrade, or end the collaboration with a 10-day notice.

What happens if we need more hours than what our plan includes?

If scope grows beyond your monthly plan, we’ll discuss options before moving forward. This can include adjusting your subscription, handling part of the work as a separate project, or purchasing additional hours at a set rate. Purchased hours are one-time add-ons and do not increase your monthly plan capacity. They follow the same rollover rules as subscription hours and are used before any new monthly allocation. All additional work is scoped and approved in advance to ensure alignment.

Can I switch plans or pause a subscription?

Yes. Subscriptions can be upgraded, downgraded, paused, or ended at the end of a billing cycle.

What is project-based work best for?

One-off or clearly defined projects with a fixed scope, timeline, and outcome.

How is pricing handled for projects?

Project-based work is priced per scope and agreed upon before starting. There are no surprises or open-ended costs.

How long does project-based work usually take?

Ir depends on scope, complexity, and feedback cycles. Low-complexity projects can be done in less than a week, but high-complexity ones may need more alignments and production time. We will agree on a timeline before starting the project.

Can we start with a project and move into a subscription?

Yes. Many clients begin with a project and move into a subscription once ongoing needs become clear.

Do I need a subscription to work with FLUC?

No. You can start with a project or choose a subscription. Both models are independent.
